  andreas melbostad spring 2010 collection for PHI has filled the void that my favorite designer, alexander wang, left in my fashion heart this season. elastic straps, slashes, endless bondage-inspired laces mixed with great fabrics. everything monochrome in either black and white (with a few green/tan pieces). andreas, i think i’m in love.

  i’m disappointed in the alexander wang spring 2010 collection. normally my favorite designer he’s now “turning a new chapter…” it shows in his current collection. i hate it. hate is a strong word. when normally i’d want 75% of the pieces in his collection this time there are two pieces that i would wear. perhaps only because they’re reminiscent of his fall ‘09 season. i get it. people need change but he’s changing everything i love about him. i mean seriously, football and basketball wear as inspiration? blehck :P
